Female Ghusl Janazah
When a Muslim dies, it becomes the responsibility of the family and other Muslims within the local community to bath and shroud the deceased according to Islamic rites.
The individual who may bath the deceased should:
1. Be an adult Muslim, honest, closemouthed and trustworthy
2. Preferably of same sex with the deceased
3. For a child, either male or female may do the ghuslu
4. Know the Islamic way of bathing and shrouding
PLACE OF BATHING
The deceased body should be bathed in a clean, secluded and private place where clean water, soap and other require items are available. Gloves must always be worn when bathing the deceased and the required length of shrouding materials should be used.
